



Lori Gould MA, CCC-SLP
Lori Gould joined the Pediatric Advantage team in September 2007 as a full time speech and language pathologist. Lori received her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany and her Master's degree in communication disorders from C.W. Post/Long Island University. During her graduate studies, Lori had the opportunity to work very closely with the pediatric Down syndrome population as well as the adult population suffering from stroke, traumatic brain injury and memory loss. She has been working with the pediatric population since 2000.
Lori has extensive experience working with the public school system both in New York City and Cambridge, Massachusetts. During this time, she acted as a supervisor for clinical fellows completing their speech pathology clinical fellowship year. Lori was responsible for organizing and presenting workshops for parents on language development as well as annual screenings on at-risk children to aid in the early detection of language impairments.
Lori comes to the private setting with experience in the evaluation and treatment of children in the areas of language and learning disabilities, processing disorders, articulation, oral-motor deficits, written language difficulties, cognitive impairment and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Specialty areas include Story Grammar Maker, Theme Maker and PROMPT training.
